Additional Available Vaccines

Hepatitis A & B

Influenza

The CDC recommends everyone over the age of 6 months should receiv an influenza vaccination yearly. Flu season can begin as early as October and run through as late as May, and since it takes 2 weeks for the vaccine’s antibodies to build in your immune system, it is essential to get your flu shot as early as possible. The Vaccine Clinic has flu shots in stock before flu season begins and will administer them while supplies last. With no prescription and no appointment needed, we’ll make flu season a breeze!

Pneumonia

Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs that can range from mild to severe. The cause can come from many other illnesses, but you can lower your risk of pneumonia with vaccinations. While pneumonia can affect anyone, the elderly, young children, and those with chronic health conditions are more likely to get pneumonia. The Vaccine Clinic can help by administering vaccines to help prevent pneumonia.

Prevnar 13

Shingles

Shingles is a rash that develops on the body, causing an intense burning sensation. While the rash typically clears up within 4 weeks, the pain can continue for months or even years. This long-lasting pain is the most common complication of shingles. As you get older, the possibility of getting Shingles increases.

Shingrix

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) licensed a new shingles vaccine in 2017 called Shingrix, which is now available in The Vaccine Clinic. This vaccine is available for adults age 50 and older, so if you haven’t already, get in touch with us about getting your Shingles Vaccine.

Tdap

The Tdap vaccine can protect adolescents and adults from tetanus, diptheria, and pertussis. One dose of Tdap is routinely given at age 11 or 12. People who did not get Tdap at that age should get it as soon as possible. It is especially important for health care professionals and anyone having close contact with a baby younger than 12 months. Pregnant women should get a dose of Tdap during every pregnancy, to protect the newborn from pertussis.

Travel Vaccines

When traveling out of the country, it is essential to know what diseases could be present there in order for you to come back as healthy as you were when you left. This part of the planning should be just as important as where you’re going. The Vaccine Clinic can make it easy for you. By clicking the button below and completing the form, we will do the research to find out which vaccines should be administered and schedule an appointment convenient for you to come in. It’s important to note that some vaccinations require more than one dose that should be spread out across several months, so you’ll want to make this part of your early planning.
